The Edge March Madness is a tool to enable the less knowledgeable
to not pick randomly for their office pool or for the more advance sports fan to filter and prioritize
the metrics that produces wins in his or her mind. Bottom line the
product is design to give you an edge/greater chance of winning whether its
just bragging rights or dollars.
We have taken a business approach to filling out
the bracket. Analyze the data - organize it - present it - and now its
up to upper management (YOU!) to make the decision perhaps this year you feel
3 pointers are the key - or you can go with our recommendation. You
have to make the call but you want to do it with all the tools available.
Three options are available for all buyers:
1. We appreciate your feedback. Based on your preferences, we are now

report option for buyers.
We will generate
prefilled bracket reports for $4.99. You will have a choice of three
prefilled bracket options from our optimized menu list - plus a
historical report of the tournament - what seeds make it - who wins it and a
lot more. (Premium
subscribers will receive unlimited access to these reports.)
2. Our Basic Subscriber will have access to a spreadsheet with the
ability to adjust the weights of various metrics. In addition, we will
offer five filled brackets based on Relative Strength of Schedule,
Rebounding, Steals, Field Goal Percentage, and a combination. As we
previously mentioned, you can create brackets based on your personal weights
- Is rebounding more important than field goal percentage - or is strength
of schedule the most critical metric? Purchase now for only 9.99!
3. Our Premium Subscriber will receive an optimized update once we
arrive at the Sweet 16. At this point, in addition to the basic subscriber
file, we will provide an additional sheet, which will find the optimal
weighting of the metrics based on the previous 48 games. If you are not
planning to participate until the Sweet 16 - this is the option for you!

A number 1 seeded team has won the tournament over +50% of the time since
1979. And adding the No2 seed team into that stat - the numbers are

Final interface will be slightly better - we are
still putting the finishing touches. You can expect to see Seed# -
graphical plot of teams based on weighting and more buttons for default
weightings.
Requirement: Microsoft Excel and the desire to
win! You need to enable macros for the functionality. By default
Excel program comes with macro security high - this setting will not work with
The Edge - you need to change it to medium - You can do this by going to
Tool>Option>Security>Macro Security>Medium
